Hey. I was wondering if I could bother you to tell me how you achieved this shot in detail. Was it camera's white balance or post-processing and what exactly it was. I'm fairly new to IR photography and my shots are still coloured a solid purple which I can't get rid of. I am using a Nikon D50 with two pieces of slide-film in the hotmirror's place.

The framing is perfect and the ir works great on this one, so otherworldly!

I belive it is mostly to do with weather conditions and the fact that when there are hardly any clouds the IR rays from the sun are very fierce creating a very deep red in the custom white balance that when swapped in channels makes it a very dark, almost black colour.

Is it possible without using the IR filter yet getting the same effect?

This is by far my favourite one of yours. Extremely eye catching and just dark and beautiful. When looking at it from afar, it's hard to know what it is...a photograph, a painting, digital art...superb.
