Well I was able to successfully convert my D70s to infrared on my own, but now am faced with the focus shift issue. I would have just sent my camera in to get converted and get the focus shift adjusted for me but I dont really have any decent lenses currently and plan to get something soon. I've been looking at how to go about adjusting the focus "pegs" inside the camera on my own and may attempt it if I cant find someone local who can do it for a decent price.

On another note I passed my 5th Microsoft exam recently which just leaves 2 more and I'm finished with my Microsoft certification's. Which just leaves mostly general's and a few other random classes before I have my BS. I am really looking forward to being done with school so I can have hobbies again and who knows maybe I can start selling some photos and doing paid shoots again.

Hit 45,000 page views which is pretty cool. Really appreciate the traffic my page has received lately and all the recent fav's and watches. I know I've said several times that I'm going to try to be more active etc... and mostly I've just submitted old shots but I do have a bit of good news. I ordered an IR hot mirror replacement for my D70s so I can convert it to an IR camera, so as long as that goes well I'm sure that will motivate me. Started a new job back in Feb which has been going well and school continues to keep me busy along with family. I really dont even have a social life anymore beyond my family and coworkers so as you might imagine getting out and shooting photos is even further down the list, especially since I ended up having to sell my most used lenses. But I am definitely looking forward to the new inspiration converting my camera should provide.

Well, I finally got around to do something about my D70s and its issues with corrupt image files and CF card formatting. Found and ordered a new CF card slot and replaced it, was not terribly difficult to do and it now works perfectly. Thinking about ordering a IR hot mirror replacement in order to convert it to a full time IR camera. So you may start seeing some new IR images from me sometime in the near future.
